Richard Shackelford has been elected as the new Chair of the Georgia Eye Bank Board of Trustees

Richard Shackelford has been elected as the new Chair of the Georgia Eye Bank Board of Trustees effective January 21, 2025.  Rick takes on the role from Bruce Varnum, who led the Board since 1996. Under Bruce’s leadership, the Georgia Eye Bank achieved significant milestones, and Mr. Shackelford is set to build on this strong foundation to further enhance the organization’s impact.
